Curriculum Development

Since July 2014, I have developed the following new courses:

  -  MAS 632a: Philosophy, Sociology and Anthropology of Law
  -  MAS 632b: Political Theory of Power, Government, and Governmentality
  -  MAS 632c: Political and Judicial Aspects of Spirit Worship in India with Accompanied Field Work

The latter course is taught in conjunction with a course on field work methodology and involves active field work in the region of Coastal Karnataka and North Kerala where village deities are being impersonated in order to secure the political and social unity of the village, township or caste and adjudicate internal conflicts.
